The bugs again

Okay, okay.  I'm sorta kinda back.  Just a brief update for now.   The bugs.  The flippin' bugs.  I'm finding more of them in the bathroom now than in the kitchen cabinets. There's a little spot where the border around the floor comes up a little bit, and they've been hanging around there. So I'm clearly going to assume that's where they're coming from. I know I should get a photo. I'll do that sometime. I wasn't thinking about that last time I found bugs there (a couple minutes ago). I just wanted them gone. But next time I see any there, I'll try to remember to get a photo.  I'm so mad at the Terminix dude...
Mmkay. That's all for now. My husband and I need to look at silly photos and skydiving information. Toodles.

Mmkay, guys, I'll try to start off with something before my husband is here and I become busy for a while. My up front apologies if the photos make this sloppy. I'll learn how to pretty it up later.  So that said, here are a couple complaints about my apartment.  (Are these photos too small? Hrm... I'll find out.) Anywho, these photos are of my porch door. I was doing chores yesterday, vacuuming over here when I noticed water on the floor. Upon closer inspection, I could see the water was coming from the door, pooling up inside those slits where the door slides. I'm really not sure how so much water got there, but fact of the matter is I was getting water in my apartment.  My first inclination is to blame the construction. You see, water isn't the only thing that manages to find its way into my apartment via poor construction around windows. Smoke does it too. I can't tell you how many times I've been sitting at my desk by the closed window--totally locked shut--and could smell my neighbors' smoke. Ugh.  So I'm figuring the big rain we had just earlier was responsible for this. And the apartment's shoddy construction job.  By the way, anything you see here that looks unclean was unclean when I first moved in. There was already mold and peeling paint at the windows because this place sucks. And those little white things... What... What are those little white things on the floor? Those were also there when we moved in. They're nailed to the floor, I think. I don't..  Huh.
And the last time I heard someone running back and forth in the hallway like this, someone's car had been broken into.  That terrified me, since my car also sleeps in that parking lot. The lighting in this parking lot at night is really poor. Maybe I'll get a photo sometime, since it gets dark at 5 PM these days. Honestly though, I'm legitimately uncomfortable with how dark it gets out there. I'll bring this up again in another post, but that's all for now. I have to go to the restroom. No, I can't just stop typing and come back. I have to finish and publish this post. I can't be reasoned with. Off I go. Toodles.
PS:  Ugh, I hate this place. Le wah.

A New Purpose

This forsaken, unused blog has been reclaimed, for the king. Well, no. For my rants. See, I got this idea after leaving a review on my apartment complex at apartmentratings.com.  I knew in my heart that I didn't want another unsuspecting, quiet introverted tenant to have to deal with the stupid things that happen here. So I left a scathing review, trying to warn them off. (And frankly, it helped me vent a bit.) But it left me wanting to really share what goes on here. And then that turned into the desire to simply keep a comprehensive, dynamic record of apartment-living.  I'm going to use this blog to detail my time in different homes. I want to give prospective tenants an insight as to a life at (wherever I am at the moment) apartments.  So I don't provoke anymore stupidness, I won't disclose locations until after I've moved. But after I've moved out, I'll link to this blog in my reviews so that--should anyone be checking out the apartment online--they can get a feel for this place. And I'll put the location here as well, to add more shame. Hahaa.  Will it all be about the apartment itself? Nah. It'll be my life at this apartment. But I'll try to include various pieces of everything that comprises life in a particular location. (Admittedly, it won't be professional. It'll be fun.)  I may casually try to include everything that happened in the eight months prior to this blog. I've been at this location about eight months. I'll try to casually or in depth (how vague, man) cover the things I remember being butthurt about in that time. But don't expect it soon. You see...
MY HUSBAND'S ABOUT TO BE HOME!!!  AH YIS! OH YES!  He's been away on a naval deployment pretty much the whole time we've been in this apartment. He was here like...the first week, while we were still buying furniture and setting up. And then he left. 8'< But he gets back in LESS THAN 48 HOURS! *hyperventilates*
So give me time to get this blog on its feet. I'm gonna be....busy for a bit. Huh huh. XD  Hopefully this blog doesn't die. We'll see. Til then!

Like it says:

UNDER SRS CONSTRUCTION

I'm going to be doing things, guys.
Such improvement. Many changes. Wow.

The blog's going to have a new purpose in life when I'm done with this. I'll explain afterward.  Don't hold your breath though.
